It was a warm welcome back after the half term despite the weather! As all the children were happy to see each other. They spent the begining of the week telling each other about the adventures they had gotten up to in the previous week.
We had a frog that came to visit! Which was great, as we have tadpoles in Gold Room. The unexpected arrival of a frog (who we named Jumpy) meant there was lots of discussion about how far they thought he could jump, what frogs are before they become frogs, where they live and why, what they eat and different patterns they can have on their skin. As pointed out by one child in particular they children didn't think it was a good idea to kiss this frog as it didn't look much like a Prince!
As we enter the second half of the Summer Term! we wonder what opportunities await ahead for us!
