It has been another busy week for us at St Margarets. We have been really focused on healthy eating this week; with many questions and discussions around healthy eating and what foods are good or bad for our teeth. We have expanded our knowlege on nutrition and shown great interest in the role of dentists and what they can do to aid our healthy lifestyles. With all the knowledge gained throughout the week, we created a collage based on foods that are good for our teeth and bad fornour teeth to act as a healthy reminder. The children enjoyed discussing their thoughts with their peers and showed great interest and skill when cutting and sticking the appropriate pictures that created our display.
In addition we explored patterns in paint, wrote invites to our friends, had fun constructing miniature houses out of tiny bricks, dancing and playing instruments in the music area, making pasta jewellery and planted apple seeds and a conker to see if it would grow into a tree....we even made signs so show where the tree was to make sure we don't loose it!
We look forward to what discoveries we will make next week!
